ABOUT THE CSR-HUB

The Civic Space Resource Hub (CSR-Hub) seeks to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) working to push back civic space restrictions in Ghana, Nigeria, and Senegal through series of training programmes, coaching and other technical support services. The Hub’s primary goal is to reinforce the institutional and operational resilience of beneficiary organisations across four strategic pillars, namely:

  • Civic Space Protection and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Leadership and Organisational Governance.
  • Resource Mobilisation and Financial Resilience.
  • Digital Security and Protection.

 ELIGIBILITY CRITIERIA

Applicants to the CSR-Hub cohort 2;

  • Must be a non-profit organisation (NGO) registered and operational in Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal, and/or social movement registered in or working from any country in West Africa
  • Must have appropriate governance structure including board, established internal controls, policies, administrative capacity etc.
  • Must demostrate (in)direct engagement and interventions on civic space and enabling enviroment, open society, human right and social justive, democracy and governance, and related thematic areas — with at least 3 progressive years of experience.
  • Must be ready to commit to 12 months long capacity buillding programmes including training and coaching sessions across all or at least two strategic pillars of the Hub.

 APPLICATION PROCESS

Interested applicants should

  • Complete an APPLICATION FORM and indicate at least two strategic pillars of interest.
  • Successful applicants would be contacted and announced on CSR-Hub website and social media platforms.
